📘 Project Overview:

To support the massive influx of pilgrims during the MahaKumbh Mela 2025, the Uttar Pradesh government undertook a critical infrastructure initiative to ensure proper sanitation and environmental sustainability. Twarit Industries was entrusted with the design, installation, and commissioning of a state-of-the-art Sewage Treatment Plant (STP) at key strategic locations across Prayagraj.

Twarit Industries played a pivotal role in:

  • Surveying and designing an efficient, scalable treatment solution tailored for high-load during the Mela period.
  • Deploying advanced treatment technologies like Hg-SBR / MBBR, ensuring compliance with CPCB and NGT norms.
  • Providing quick setup, modular STP units to handle surge flows.
  • Ensuring treated water is safe for reuse in horticulture and dust suppression.

  • Helped preserve river Ganga from sewage contamination.
  • Managed sewage generated by millions of temporary residents and pilgrims during the event.
  • Set a benchmark for rapid deployment and eco-friendly treatment in large-scale religious gatherings.
